Making the eyes angular, making the outer diamonds of the mask into chevrons, and making the head fur stand up instead of droop makes it look 10x better imo. With those tiny changes, it goes from a goofy-looking stoner cat / court jester to a cool, rogueish magician.

Croc is instantly improved without the stupid nose thing.

I hate how so many modern pokes can be trivially improved like this and yet... they just leave them weird / overdesigned. I couldn't nitpick Gen 1-5 pokes like this in the same way I can nitpick Gen 6-9 pokes like this.
