All public transportation buses should have seats near the door marked to give up your seat for the elderly, pregnant and disabled yes. It shouldn't need to be spelled out like this but we seem to have people who don't want to participate in being part of a cooperative society without rules telling them exactly how to do so.

Unfortunately, public transport relies on the public not being assholes and that's unavoidable. But you can certainly do your part as an individual on a bus. It is common etiquette to give up your seat near the door/exit (which is also why you should aim to sit elsewhere to begin with) if an elderly, pregnant or injured is otherwise standing. Not only does it benefit them but it means slower people can get off the bus quicker which benefits everyone. It's called 'public' transport for a reason.
