It's kinda a wank to have it count as a regeneration for the purposes of Time of the Doctor, but... it's also a wank to have it NOT count as a regeneration when that makes the whole thing have no weight if the Doctor can just do that. I don't like 11th that much, but I still like him enough to have him higher on my lists. It's really hard to separate the quality of 13th's character and performance from the TERRIBLE writing in her seasons, but it feels like no one could save that. --- Okay, I rolled a 14.
