The game stupidly didn't let you save sin before that, but throwing him in the TV is how you get the bad ending. Also, where are the comments about Nanako? I was waiting for those! Only time in a video game I've ever nearly cried (I don't even know if I'm capable of actually crying btw). And, yeah, Adachi was so obvious.
