I feel like it's best to keep up with the atrocities of the world and accept the world is a fucked up place but not let it fool you into thinking it's all doom and gloom. There are good people out there, a lot more than cynics like to think. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be positive, it just means you shouldn't bury your head in the sand.

But what says those with positive attitude aren't just putting on a show? I am one depressed person but in real life everyone sees me as a buddle of joy and jokes. Even people at my job in my department's group chat says they miss my cheerfulness around the office since I started working at home. Fact is, a lot of people put on a mask to hide what they are or feeling.
