wow I'm really sorry lol

Protest the Hero - Palimpsest
protest have always mixed ridiculous musicianship with a punk energy and infectious songwriting, but this latest album diving through American historical events was a peak for them and especially Rody throwing out his best vocals ever

Periphery II
while their debut is the album most responsible for the Djent (music that sounds like a train, for those this is a new term to) explosion of the 2010s, this was the pinnacle imo. while the groove line directly from Meshuggah is still clearly there, here Spencer really gives his best vocals that really set Periphery above the rest of the class

Trivium - Shogun
while their first two albums are very much classic metalcore, and their later albums go on to this fairly comfortable modern mainstream metal sound, Shogun was really a unique sound that redefined who they were as a band. I think there's so many interesting things going on with the vocals here with both cleans and growls, and the recurring motifs throughout the album tie it all together.

like two of you will like any of these sorry x
