| furb 08/17/22 7:29:30 PM #21: | I grew up loving baseball but cursed that the local team was the Pirates. One of my earliest sports memories is the Barry Bonds/Sid Bream moment in the NLCS in 92. That season was followed by a team that never had another winning season until like 2010. They had a chance around 10 years ago to win a world series but instead of building that team up after losing to the Cardinals, they actively made it worse.
