Im Sakamoto https://myanimelist.net/anime/32542/Sakamoto_Desu_ga Spring 2016 (12 episodes) My Score: 3/10, MAL Score: 7.56/10 Best Character: Sakamoto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8d3bW42aFY Premise: The handsome Sakamoto makes the girls swoon and is perfect at everything he does. The boys in his high school keep trying to bring him down, but Sakamoto foils them every time. The Good: Some of the ways Sakamoto managed to come out on top were funny for their absurdity, especially early on before the whole concept became stale. The Bad: This anime felt like it only had one joke and it kept using it over and over. Sakamoto encounters a situation that should bring him down a peg, but hes perfect so he makes it through looking even better than before. It quickly became repetitive. It wouldnt be so bad if this was a rapid-fire comedy where there were dozens of gags per episode. Sadly, most of these scenarios were stretched to fill time and felt overlong. I also never felt much attachment to Sakamoto, so I didnt care whether he got through these zany situations or not. Overall: Havent You Heard? Im Sakamoto is the type of anime where, if you like this style of humor, itll be great because its nothing but that.
