It's a creepy as hell picture but I also have no idea what's happening here. Yes this is a very unsettling death screen, especially if you're new to the game. The skeleton is your character. For years people have been wondering if that is someone's silhouette in the far distance between the trees. As for the game itself, the gameplay is not great but the music and visuals were groundbreaking for the time.
