That screenshot for Boktai had me staring at it for a few seconds to try and not see a head-person wearing really long, red, skinny jeans.

Also why is the ground made of perfect squares!!

#54 Hearthstone

This is mainly here for the part that got me hooked on the game: the single player adventures they were designing, during the 2010s, such as "Blackrock Mountain", "Naxxramas", "Karazhan", etc.

Each of these consisted of a dozen well-designed polished little challenge fights. I especially loved ones where you were able to design and bring your own deck. It must have been so hard to balance these challenges, but they ROCKED. Especially all the visual flair and flavor text that came with them, and how these bosses talked to you during the puzzly fights!!! Awesome.

I somehow don't care about the real game's gameplay very much, or the balance. It's interesting or whatever. But really, I just fall in love with certain cards, and play just to see their satisfying visual effects, and hear those voice lines, again and again.

I hear their newest single player content is some of the best stuff Blizzard's ever done, I've been meaning to check it out. I did like the roguelike expansion they added a few years back.

FAVORITE CARD: Looking back, I feel like Voidwalker was my true favorite card. Lovable sassy voiceline, and a first turn 1/3 with taunt is just so comforting. And I always thought Voidwalkers were really cute in WoW.
