Surprised at how low Alive Day was (I take it Trashy Hot's bonus points for being someone's #2 were why it's ahead despite the lower ranking)... but just look at the difference between #5 and #12. Eight of thirteen tracks were separated by an average ranking of <2! This was one very tight ranking, so I'm glad I went with Singularity. People seemed to enjoy it and having ranks that are all over the place is a sign of a good album, instead of one that's top-heavy! Sweet Relief was really the only song people didn't seem to like, and I'm happy with that result.

Anyway, I actually just finished my first relisten of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. It's been a while! And... while it's not as consistently awesome as I'd recalled, it's still a really good album. It has the big hits, a couple of really good deep cuts, and a small handful of other songs that blend together. It feels like Elton and Bernie had a backlog and chose to push out a few extra songs, the fact that they were making a new album every eight months notwithstanding >_>
