Character actions and motivations stopped making sense, they started relying on blatant plot armor, and the ending itself was unsatisfying. Ive seen lots of otherwise fun anime descend into melodrama near the end, as if the writers are afraid the story wont be taken seriously without an epic finale. Release the Spyce was ruined by it.
