Topic	Robazoid Ranks 275 Anime and Top 100 Anime Characters (recommend me stuff too)

Symphogear https://myanimelist.net/anime/11751/Senki_Zesshou_Symphogear Winter 2012 (13 episodes) Summer 2013 (13 episodes) Summer 2015 (13 episodes) Summer 2017 (3/13 episodes, unfinished) Summer 2019 (0/13 episodes, unfinished) My Score: 1/10, MAL Score: 7.02/10 S1, 7.46/10 S2, 7.43/10 S3, 7.59/10 S4, 8.19/10 S5 Best Character: Tachibana Hibiki https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOXaWCRv_68 Premise: Aliens are attacking Earth, and the only defense is symphogears, ancient weapons powered by songs. Tachibana Hibiki is embedded with a symphogear after an attack at a concert, and she teams up with Kazanari Tsubasa, a woman still grieving the loss of her former partner. The Good: Symphogear has good music, especially the battle songs. I also like Hibiki. Shes energetic and happy, at least when the plot allows her to be. Symphogear is at its best when Hibiki is being a dork about friendship or getting pointed towards the Noise and allowed to run wild. The Bad: Symphogear isnt at its best very often. The first season took some baffling turns that I still dont fully understand. It had something to do with DNA and the moon, I dunno. The later seasons were where Symphogear turned awful, though. S2 introduced some of the worst characters ever. Like, one villain slaughtered children while cackling maniacally and he still has some absolute morons convinced that he was the good guy. Then another character wanted to save their friends life so they tried their hardest to kill that friend in a battle. The writing in Symphogear was atrocious whenever it turned even slightly serious, which it often did. Overall: It appears Symphogear is going to keep coming back to haunt me every few seasons. While I do intend to continue it someday, for now I gave up early in the fourth season when it started delving into war crimes. Then again, that season also had an amazing song about beef stroganoff that they sang in their cooking class. If only all of Symphogear could be fun like that. COMING UP TOMORROW: 250: Mad scientists have twisted this anime into a monster. 249: This anime was turned to ash by my UV defenses. We're done with the 1/10 tier!
