I've said this before but I sure wish more people would give some background/insight on their nominations... (speaking as not the nominator but at least someone familiar) All three choices this week are 90s alt-rock bands fronted by women - a clear consistent theme where, in my opinion, the strongest album is by the least known group. I'm not quite sure how to sell one against the other - I think the big difference being Elastica is frenetic whereas, if memory serves, the other two are moodier.
