I feel like dudes are just setting themselves up for a disappointment if they don't think their girl is naturally attractive. She is not going to get more attractive as she gets older and make up is expensive.
Personally I've never seen the appeal of make up, at least large amounts of it. "Red lips and black eyelashes and blushed cheeks make me look more fertile!"
Ok, well I'm not a fucking wild animal. I'm a human who knows you just put stuff on your face and that you were fertile regardless....And I don't even care if you are feritle. So what was the point?
Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against it, I just don't see the appeal.

Sometimes it's not really about you or others to "understand it". I prefer girls that are naturally beautiful too, but if they want to use makeup because they feel it makes them look/feel better about themselves, whether because society has ingrained it into them or by their own volition, then all the more power to them. It's no more different than tattoos, or clothes or jewelry imo.
