It can be a nice risk-free way to earn a little extra money, and pretty much everything can be done online. Got to be able to float at least few thousand in cash for most of them though, and you always gotta read the fine print.

Is there any downside to having multiple bank accounts on your record? Does it get tied to your credit at all? Obviously checking accounts aren't credit, just wondering if there is any penalty to having multiple accounts (assuming you are fulfilling any obligations with the bank for minimum deposits and whatnot)
