Daughter woke up as soon as I started the cutscene leading to the boss of the purgatorium, so I had to wait 30 mins or so to put her back to sleep. Came back and picked up my headphones to start the boss fight (paused it as soon as the fight started since you can't friggin' pause cutscenes in this game), and the audio broke. Usually this happens whenever you switch audio sources in older PC games, but my headphones going to sleep usually never counts as an audio switch. Decided to just close the game out then reopen it. Skipped the cutscene. Fought the boss. As soon as I landed the killing blow, the game crashed. Probably the first time this game has ever crashed on me.
