I played in a weekly game store tourney from like 2004 to 2007, and only quit when the game started having way too many new rules (Synchros and shit) and became too much of a money sink ("You gotta keep buying packs to get your Dark Armed Dragon" and by the time I did, there was another new broken card I had to get).
