You glue the cakes side by side together with frosting. If a layer doesn't fit, you just cut some of the cake off. Cake decorating is horrifyingly wasteful. It's why I hate having people watch me do it because they'll nag about it even though this was how their wedding cake was made in the professional bakery. --- "But who prays for Satan?
