They were willing to neutralize a man that, to their knowledge, was still carrying a weapon. They didn't know he left his weapon in the vehicle til after the fact. They didn't just head into a situation with an otherwise calm individual and decide "yeah we gonna kill him for no reason" There was a logical series of events that culminated into their course of action. You can believe that him turning around and seemingly motioning that he was drawing a weapon didn't warrant the overkill response of 90 shots at his general direction, that's fine. But acting like the cops knew he was unarmed is disingenuous --- The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
