So finally sat down and watched the final episode.

It was... okay. Much like the series as a whole. It just felt like it didn't do enough to connect the two trilogies, and I'm not talking about continuity issues. Just in general, Leia really doesn't undergo any development throughout the series. Obi-Wan really doesn't have much a personality still. Anakin's obsession with Obi-Wan is handwaved rather quickly at the end of the series. Just a whole this series felt... unnecessary? Like Solo. The performances were good but it was in service of story that didn't need to be told and wasn't told particularly well. Hell, why bother killing the Grand Inquisitor early in the series only to bring him back in the second to last episode and do... nothing with him in the finale?

Like the entire story needed to be about how Obi-Wan reached the wise old teacher by A New Hope and the only real hint we get of that is him wandering off with Qui-Gon. Otherwise all I felt I was watching was PT Obi-Wan with better acting and scripting.

The fight between Obi-Wan vs. Vader was fine although it shows the ridiculous power-creep of Force Powers and felt a little too DBZ for me at times.

Like this show wasn't downright painful to watch at times like Boba Fett and bless them for giving Hayden a chance to prove that his awful performances in the PT weren't on him since he was fine in this, but this felt like unrealized potential.
