Kubo confirms there was a lot he couldn't add to the manga and that the anime contains new scenarios and all the battles and characters he couldn't get to. So it's the complete version of the arc as we hoped. Very curious to know the details surrounding this and how much more was added. I was pissed we didn't get to see all Bankai's, ~~Kenpachi gets a powerup through eliminating a senior captain, and never found out if Yoruichi even has a zanpakuto and releases. That cat whatever thing doesn't count~~ Lightning Strikes posted... But really, this arc has a lot of Bleachs absolute best moments in it so an expanded version that sorts out some of the messiness at the end sounds great. Nothing will top Soul Society.
