Regardless, it didn't feel like the relaxing chill experience I was expecting to have with a game like this.

Thats what its like for me too. I try to get s*** done as soon as possible and maximise my time.

But you dont have to play it that way. You dont run out of money or game over so you could literally plant one crop a day and go watch the river and theres no punishment for it
