Now, as for upcoming stuff Im excited about.

Ive already mentioned Zdarskys Batman and Daredevil, the latter of which isnt technically upcoming, #1 be dammed.

Al Ewings upcoming Ant Man miniseries appears as if it will be a love letter to every version of the character, and signs indicate that the final chapter may end up introducing a new iteration of the character. While theres a good chance that only the Scott Lang issue will be of any interest to me, the character having had some wonderful runs from Spencer and Wells, I trust Ewing to make this one to watch out for.

Detective Comics 1062 will be the start of a new focused run for the book similar to Zdarsky and Jimenez taking over Batman, and DCs decision to start putting real focus back in these headlining books is a welcome one (I have not yet had the pleasure to read Phillip Kennedy Johnsons currently praised Action Comics run which follows this formula, but I intend to soon, and I hope that the trend continues when the new volume of Superman inevitably starts after Dark Crisis. Fraction has been present in lot of Superman minis and one shots in recent years, and I would not be surprised if they give him the book). I tend to enjoy the work of Ram V quite a bit, and Rafael Albuquerque is a superstar artist and a perfect fit for the writer and the book. I am not as excited as I am for Batman, but its still a high priority. And the hey, the new logo for it they just announced is really good! You know theyre making a push for the new run when they change the logo for Detective Comics of all things.

Gambit I dont actually have anything to say about except this miniseries is being written by Chris Claremont in 20 God damn 22, so its a must read for the novelty alone

I have no particular reason to be excited for the Mary Marvel book, but I will always read new Shazam.

Sword of Azrael is spinning off one of the best stories in the now prominent Gotham Urban Legends series, which it now more obviously then ever being used as a springboard book existing almost exclusively to provide backdoor pilots for new series. And hell, its worked out decently so far!

Batman VS Robin is a pretty off-putting title nowadays, but it doesnt take long after digging in to find why this is an exciting book. Mark Waid continues his return to DC in a book that spin directly out of Worlds Finest, and this should be the highest priority for just about anyone.

Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow. Dont need to say anything here, Connor Kent miniseries in the classic leather jacket, you couldnt pay me NOT to read it.

X-Terminators.uh...I mean I really like the cover! Jubilee and Laura on a team together! I hope its good lol.
