Either way, it doesn't fucking matter. These kinds of religious violence are far more rooted in political strife than anything to do with religion. The people in power wield religion as a cudgel to get people to act how they want them too. It's not as if were there no religions that these acts would stop happening. Hating the tool used instead of the root of the problem is weird as fuck.
