It *isn't* obviously at all. There is a lack of evidence to believe in them, but that doesn't mean we can say that God factually doesn't exist.

The very concept of a god is one that cannot be proven nor disproven. It is a waste of time to try to do either. Both sides are approaching it with absolute beliefs based in faith of some sort.

Faith that one exists, faith that despite there being no possible evidence to disprove the existence of one that there surely isn't one.

Magic, as is shown in fantasy and kids shows, doesn't. That said there is power in ritual, in performance. Clearly no self-proclaimed witch can manipulate natural forces, but the rituals they do can affect how they approach events in life without knowing. A spell to bring about love isn't bringing their true love to them, but it might make them subconsciously pay closer attention to body language of someone and realize they're mutually interested etc.

Except making up something ridiculous and then saying well you cant disprove it is a garbage defense.

Maybe there are a thousand gods all of which are invisible blueskinned featherless bird-people that control the world through telepathy.

You cant disprove it
