Most embarrassing thing you'd ever wanna go through. To be fair, it was $35 plate and this was circa 2010. We ended up staying and they left us alone, but they (my parents) fought the rest of the night over it. I went back to the hotel. We were gonna watch National Lampoon's Vacation. So much much that. We never did end up seeing it again. It was a tradition when I'd come visit home. It amazes me how people I consider educated adults.
