Moonlighter is a roguelite with shopkeeping aspects. Whatever you find for in the monster-filled dungeons, you go back to your town as a shopkeeper and sell thosr items for cash. The cash goes to upgrading armor, weapons, etc.

Is Stardew Valley kind of like this too?

Yeah except you're going to be spending more money on building your farm. Stardew has armor and weapons and they're important but not the main focus.
