There are usually about 10 splash screens = 2 minutes or so of clicking 'a' or 'start'. Then, every single game seems to have a 1-3 hour tutorial before you can even start playing. Because of this, I'm usually checked out about 10 minutes into the tutorial, the game gets put away, and I never touch it again. In a few exceptional cases, a game may suck me in. Conversely, I can fire up Super Mario Bros 2 and be playing on the first level in about 15 seconds.
