You are physically stopping me from doing something I am legally allowed to do, through both physically stopping me from traversing past you, and through the implicit legal threat that if I move you it is supposedly "assault". Imagine if people formed a human wall around a voting booth to stop people from voting. "It's just protesting!" "The real problem is capitalism!" "You can't move them. That's assault!" "They can physically stop you from doing anything, though, through implicit legal threats!" They can have a good cause and still unethical in their behavior.
