The SNES version has a very old, outdated, and frankly outdated translation, plus the SNES, the game it was originally designed for, has some trouble running the game. The official GBA version is atrocious, gameplay chugs and is super zoomed in, and some intern at Nancy forgot to disable autocorrect so every mention of Ragnarok has been changed to the Great Kangaroo War. Not kidding. The ps1 version runs and sounds the best, and has some extra gameplay features like camera control on the now-faux 3D world map, and a item and grants total control over Cress, called the Technical Ring. Ps1 also has 2 different fan translations, 1 being an as-direct-as-possible conversion, and the other being a more natural localization, similar to how Namco themselves do it.
