I know what you mean. I was in school for many years, even after college.
You become a teacher?

Man, can you imagine working at these things *shudders*.
I've actually considered it. I might want to teach a college course some time in the future.

Things I wish someone would have told me when I got out of school:

1. You haven't 'arrived', you are just getting started.
2. Make sure you spend some significant time working on your job interview skills. The worst thing you can do is just wing it. This is super-easy today because you have a resource like Youtube.
3. It takes about 2-5 years of experience in most fields before you really have a clue what you are doing or what your chosen career really entails.
Good luck!
I've actually been working in my field or at least a field adjacent to what my degree is in. I've got 6 years of experience and am going to stay with my current employer and take on new duties. I still enjoy it so far so I'm sure I'm in the right career. I am always thinking forward to what other options are open to me though. I don't think it's ever too late to try something new.
