Yeah lots of them have that. But you eventually tire of doing it and don't go overboard on resource collection. If they had a scrap system and allowed you to accrue scrap at that advanced of a rate, a junk system would have to be introduced to offset it somehow. Which imo would be better because people love collecting all the shit. Even if they had to junk some of it before they leave the dungeon.

However, there are those who can't be bothered for a secondary or tertiary loot system built for crafting or resource farm mechanics so for them you'd also need to automate the system for a quick clean and still give them the benefit of the broken down loot minus any drawn out harvesting or processing of it that people like me would engage it.

Some people just wanna smash and run. They don't care about all the other shit. And to be fair, most of the time the loot isn't worth stopping and breaking down. That's where the devs need to come in and let players like me who like to processes it create value for the market or other parts of the game.
its a well known game but i love the way torchlight ii handles it, by giving you a little pet who can haul the loot back to town and sell it for you while you remain in the dungeon.
