Man this has to be the 2nd greatest technicality I have seen in a card effect ever

I have Gravekeepers Heretic and Necrovalley on the field. Heretic is unaffected by ALL cards if Necrovalley is on the field.

Dude activates lightning storm to destroy my spells and traps, I counter with Starlight Road, he uses Impermanence on my Heretic and the Imperm is in the zone of my starlight road so he should be able to negate it, and allow his lightning storm to destroy my spells.

Problem is the wording on impermanence. Its says negate the effects of one monster, THEN negate all other spells and traps in its column. Because Heretic is immune to other effects, that column effect of Imperm cannot go through. So I negated the lightning storm, kept all my cards, dude sat there for just 2 mins wondering what happened, and then scooped.
