Doing votes early today (and probably for the next few days) so I don't get stuck being busy and not having time to listen to everything before the deadline.

Illusionary Blue Flowers is alright. Nothing about it particularly interests me though. It's just there. Melody is okay, instruments aren't noteworthy, production is fine. Not much else to say about it.

Apparently this is the other memed to death song here. Unfortunate, since I really like this one. Aoife N Fhearraigh does a fantastic job on the vocals. Lovely instrumentation throughout. The low whistle solo in the intro is great as well. And including a bouzouki is always welcome. Great melodies throughout too, making one of my favorite Metal Gear songs in general.

Burning Hearts is a fun song. Takenobu Mitsuyoshi has a great voice, and the chorus is super catchy. The sax solo is pretty cool too.

Home Sweet Home is really nice. Love the piano parts here. The strings are pretty nice as well. I like the quiet hand percussion too, it adds quite a bit to the texture of the composition. It does get a bit repetitive, but it's not too long of a song, so it's not a dealbreaker or anything for me. This is kind of a tough match tbh.

City of Tears is so good with the vocals, strings, and harp. Such great instrumentation. I do wish it had a stronger melody, but that's a minor gripe here. I still really like the song.

Hmm, I kinda like stg_travel_2_3, but it also doesn't really capture me either. The production is pretty solid, it has a cool melody, but at the same time, it kinda doesn't go anywhere interesting to me. So I'll just leave this song with a decent rating from me.

Pretty good day today.
