Anyways, I was searching the desert oasiss on a bit of a wild goose chase to find Edward, the guy who can fix my rings, when a Basilisk petrified my entire party. First wipe out of the playthrough. Last time I saved was before the Maxwell fight, haha. Not too much progress was lost but still, should have been saving more.
