That being said, it's definitely less ambitious, and I don't really care for the graphical style even compared to the GBC visuals. I had a few issues with dropped inputs, but I think it's just because of the PS5 controller's crummy d-pad. Also, Shantae herself was not terribly likeable in the first game, but in this one she kinda goes off the rails into just being a lazy asshole to people for no reason. That's a pretty minor gripe though.
