Do you honestly think that so many people would love listening to his stupid fucking rallies if he didn't resonate with them? The fact that he's rambling and saying nothing of substance is immaterial. The literal way he speaks itself is engaging to them, and that's all that matters for most people when choosing who to support. I feel like people in this topic series categorically do not make an effort to understand why a creature like Trump became influential. You can't just say 'Trump has zero charisma, Trump is bad at speaking' when he has massive popularity among a good 1/3 of the country. Part of it is because he's saying what they want to hear, but the rest of it IS Trump himself.
