Op states 1 woman had 12 people wanting to date her, and another that's taken. We didn't get a time frame, but I doubt any of those guys had 13 prospective partners lining up for them in the same time span. That's what people mean when they say women have it easier. They have more options, and an easier time finding a partner.

Whether that partner is worth keeping is a different problem. Obviously ease of access provides it's own set of problems and dangers. But those only become apparent after getting a date.
