So, if you die 3 times, then you gotta go pick up 3 bloodstains if they were far enough apart from each other. Or you can pay a price to rid yourself of your "Guilt" lol The idea of a guy who tortures himself is a uniquely Blasphemous direction coming from stuff like Demon Slayers, the Undead, the Unkindled, Hunters, etc 10/10 Couldnt recommend enough.
