People in America act like it's some awful place, but I have never met a single person who lives there or has visited there that can confirm any of the anti-chinese propaganda we are told. In fact, most people who have been/lived there will say most of it isn't true.

Yeah I'm sure they do, but sites are literally blocked over there, and their government literally controls what the media can and cannot say, hence the danger of trusting everyone with a seemingly convincing argument.

And they did that genocide and covered it up, I forget the name of it, with the protest. Yeah if you went there it would probably be fine because life does in fact go on without a working democracy. Doesn't mean their government doesn't suck.
