I will say that even though I enjoyed Re:Zero overall I still think Suburu is probably the most annoying protagonist in any media I've ever consumed. the show is basically good in spite of him. i understand why he's like that as far as the plot goes but that doesn't make him any less annoying, really. I love character growth more than just about anything, and the bigger gap between a characters starting and ending point the better.
