Yeah... that dumbass is doing at least one of these three things:
- Supporting Turd by attacking Johnny's character here
- Attempting self-righteous validation for whatever dumb shit he said
- Trying to gain notoriety
I'm guessing the third is why it's going to trial despite him not having a lawyer. He's representing himself for $$$. Even if he loses, he's expecting appearance fees and such for other things, and may have written a book he wants to promote. There's no advertising quite like negative press covfefe. All he has to lose is time. He has no lawyer to pay and Johnny's not counter-suing (at least not yet). Even so, I expect him to get eviscerated. I can only imagine Camille saying "You're trying to attack Johnny's character for your own fame, aren't you?" as this guy cracks on the stand. Camille is a defamation specialist but after her performance in the Turd trial, Johnny will want her there so he can sue this guy's ass after the trial for defamation, or at least threaten to.
That said, even though this is absolute folly, I gotta admire this dodo's testicular fortitude by representing himself against the big dogs. That's probably the only nice thing I'd have to say about him based on what little I know.
