- She "graciously" offered to settle out of court for "only" $1 million
- Even putting aside how ridiculous making them pay at all is, how is it so high? Every car insurance I've ever seen has caps on payouts for personal injury, and they're an order of magnitude less than $5.2 million
- I'm renewing my car insurance currently, and it went up 15% from 6 months ago despite no accidents and barely driving. It's probably because of bs like this.
