I still can't believe Red Vultures railroaded Jeff like that. I can understand creative differences as they clearly want to run a website that has nothing to do with video games, but at least give the man who founded the site and ran it for 14 years a proper send off.

I haven't listened to the Bombcast in at least 4 months (basically around the time Danny stopped appearing), but I checked out this week's episode to see how bad it has gotten, and I don't think there has been a bigger fall from grace than what we saw over the last year.

On the plus side, Jeff's solo podcast was a banger, and it was great to be able to listen to Jeff talk without voidburger cutting him off constantly. It also tickled me that during the Keigh-3 stream yesterday, Waypoint was sitting around 800 viewers, Nextlander and Giant Bomb around 3000, and Jeff's solo stream was around 6200. Jeff was the heart and soul of Giant Bomb, and I give the shambling husk that is that website maybe another year before it gets shuttered.

Hopefully someone manages to archive all the old VODs before that happens.
