I just meant with sentencing. Drugs are a slap on the wrist. Only thing I noticed were harder on is driving without your license. In the US it seems like its a fine and someone can come pick you up in your car if they can drive. In Canada (BC) its a year suspension, and if you get caught again, two weeks in remand. But they let you do weekends.

Drugs shouldn't land you innprison. Not use or simple possession anyways. Shit it's easier to get drugs in prison.

And people make out like we throw you in the slammer for years over weed. Not true. Nit in this state anyways. Haven't seen the first person in simply for weed. And to be in prison your sentence has to be over a year. Anything under you spend in jail. Shit like math though? Yeah that might get you in prison.

Either way I don't think anything outside drug dealing should get you in prison. Your punishing people by putting them in a environment where they can still get drugs. Mighr not be their drug of choice but itsbtheir and usually worse. I've had inmates die and have to be recesitated. Then they go smoke the shit again right away.
