I mean, its already (in the US at least), a thing to not allow people to consume substances. Even legal ones as part of a parole. My wife is still technically barred from consuming alcohol and she doesnt even have a criminal record. But barring them from places that even serve alcohol is a step beyond, as far as Im concerned. Id be more along the lines of giving them some sort of ID that states theyre unable to purchase. Because that would cut a lot of things from a persons life where they wouldnt even be buying alcohol. Like, I dont think theres a grocery store a person could enter in this area Kind of a slippery slope argument.
