That argument makes zero sense. Everybody being there was "rather unnecessary." However, if you permit one person being there, you permit everybody being there.

Then try watching the video and seeing the teen get chased by guys decades older than him, who then assault him, and one of who moves in to shoot Kyle even after the shots rang out. If the paragraph doesn't acknowledge the self-defense, then it's a pretty biased paragraph. Even one of the guys -- gunman Gaige -- Kyle shot flat-out admits Kyle was acting in self-defense
