But how would it have a sequel with that ending There are multiple endings to Dragon's Dogma, so they could base the sequel on other endings besides the final one, or just have the sequel's story be a alternate retelling of the events of the original but in a new world with a new cast. Considering the player's created avatar is the main character for most of the story in the original and that will likely stay the same for sequels, Capcom can continue to make new Dragon Dogma games based around the same legend or a similar one.
