I have a ton of hobbies, so I inevitably end up circling various groups. Most are pretty bad. They all seem to have their own issues. If you've never experienced them this is what you can expect.

Guns. Horrible online, great in real life. The boards are 90% egotistical know it all assholes. I feel bad for new people trying to get into it. It gives a bad impression, because everyone I've actually met at the range has been super nice.

Watches. Full of snobs and opportunists, half of which have never even touched the things they're so critical of.

MTG. It used to be pretty good years ago, but now it feels like it's nothing but meta builders, and traders that treat it like its the stock market.

Knives. Hands down the best I've experienced. It has a handful of jerks, but everyone seems to show them the door pretty quick. It's also the only group where I've had regular communication with manufacturers and big YouTubers. Super down to earth folks.

I've bounced around some other groups. Books, art, music. It's kinda hard to put a gauge on them though since they're so broad. Any other good ones out there?
